ESM 24 (Elite Scholastic Meet 2024) January 21st, 2024

January 21st, 2024 Salute to @cason.andre @speedevolutionsva for getting me involved We are back for the third annual ESM high school indoor track and field Meet at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Our Meet is hosted by Speed Evolutions Athletics Club. ESM ‘24 is now an automatic qualifier for the 2024 high school New Balance Indoor National Championships. Gold and Silver Medalists, in featured events, will receive an invitation to compete in the most prestigious high school track and field Meet in the world. Competitions will be heavy because these athletes will have a reason to bring their ‘A Game’…an automatic bid to have a chance to become a New Balance Indoor National Champion. Our first Meet, ESM ‘22, was a great success.
This season’s Meet will be bigger and better, and will display the talents of nationally ranked high school track and field athletes in the United States, featuring the very best track and field athletes from Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV). ESM ‘24 has a professional track and field meet format, which means that the entire Meet will last 3 hours, with all of the races being a final. Our format ensures action packed events, with never a dull moment. Our Meet is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU).
Our guest Announcer, and Meet MC is none other than ‘The Voice’ of New Balance Indoor and Outdoor Championships, Hatim Jean-Louis. In addition to having most of the track and field disciplines (events), ESM ‘24 will have three charity races: “The Smoke”, an adult 60m dash to benefit the ALS Association, which is our adopted charity; the Military Mile, which is a one mile race with a few of the most competitive, activity enlisted milers in various branches of the US military, based in the Hampton Roads area; and, the READY Academy ‘Pitter Patter Challenge’, a 60m dash for 3-4 year olds. We’ll also have one or two other surprise races that are sure to bring the crowd to its feet in excitement. ESM ‘24 is sure to bring excitement, fun, joy, and laughter to track and field fans and supporters of all ages.
